American Pit Bull Terrier
American Pit Bull Terrier as regarded as a loyal companion because of how protective they are to their owners. They are also intelligent dog and are usually known as APBT.
This breed of dog can live comfortably both indoors and outdoors. Their trademark look is their smooth and shiny coat that is sometimes thick and short. The color of a APBT differs and it usually stands at 18-22 inches.
The APBT arrived in the US close to the middle of the 1800s along with a few Irish-Boston immigrants. A descendant of bulldogs and terriers, these dogs were trained to be powerful by the Americans as well as to be pounds heavier than others.

Another part of their grooming should include a rub down with a towel after their bath so as to remove loose hairs.
Because of the way APBT are built, it is best to involve them in a daily exercise routine. This routine could include running around the park or along you as you ride your bicycle. Be sure to always keep the dog on its leash even during its leisure/ exercise time.
Since these dogs display an aggressive demeanor, they are usually employed by arm forces to help track down criminals.
