Boston Terrier Rescue
The Boston Terrier Rescue is an organization that is responsible for housing Boston Terrier dogs that have either been abandoned or lost.
What the organization does is to set up rescues for the dogs as well as placement of the dogs into stable homes.
Not all Boston Terrier dogs are admitted into the organization. Those Boston Terrier dogs that are showing clear signs of poor health, or are old diseased and aggressive would not be taken in.
The idea to rescue these dogs is to provide them with needs that their owners cannot fulfill. Most of the times the dogs find their way into this organization is because their owners have given them up for adoption since they are unable to care for them.
And even when a dog is in the care of the Boston Terrier Rescue, the owners stand by their word that the dogs would not be used for breeding purposes. Before the dogs are given up for adoption, they are spayed and neutered so that reproduction would not take place.
Male Boston terriers are in excess at the Rescue shelter. Most are between the ages of two and six years old.
For dog owners who may not be able to physically care for their dogs, they should opt to dropping it off at the Boston Terrier rescue. While there is no real charge for giving up your dog, there are some owners who volunteer to pay for the dog’s medical checkup as well as spaying and neutering.
The organization does accept donations which is used to get the dogs ready for being adopted by its new owners.
If you are thinking of adopting one of these dogs, there is no charge to do so but the organization would require that you provide ample proof that you can financially support the dog’s needs. Boston Terriers Rescue can be contacted at Canine-1-1!
