Kitty Saved
When my kitty, Emma, was very young…probably only 4 weeks old (she was born to a feral cat that lives in my neighborhood)…I knew she was in trouble because she wasn’t with her mother. The other wild cats were pushing her around but she was a survivor. I was determined to catch her and help her find a home. I went outside with tuna as an enticement and just laid on the ground trying to get her to come to me. After about 45 minutes of patient waiting, she finally came to me and I took her in my house. She has been a delight ever since. She gives me “kisses” and follows me around constantly! I just wish more kitties in the wild could be saved and, more importantly, that the feral cats could be neutered so that these precious kittens wouldn’t have to be born into a world that is very hard to survive in.
