There is more to Poodles than meets the eye
Probably the most intelligent dog in all of the canine descendants to date is the Poodle.
Poodles and cute and cuddly looking and are always a hit not only at the dog shows but even during casual walks with its owner.
It is safe to say that Poodles are the ultimate show dogs. They are no doubt aware of their beauty so it is quite easy for them to want to perform tricks for every one to see.
More than that a Poodle is a loyal dog to have around and they are so smart and in touch with their owners that most have said that these dogs have a lot of human qualities in them.
Poodles have signature long fluffy looking coats and its owners are required to cut their hair on a regular basis.
If their hair isn’t trimmed, they run the risk of having it drag on the ground along with them.
A well kept coat on a Poodle can draw a lot of stares and compliments from people wherever it may go.
If you have to groom your Poodle keep in mind that their coats take a while to dry. And since you don’t want your dog to catch cold from having his coat wet, it is best if you leave the dog supervised in a warm room, perhaps one with a portable heater.
Besides the puffed hair, Poodles are easily recognized by their bent hind legs, and their tail which although higher than average dogs, it is never curled.
A poodle may have small feet, but they are in good shape and ready to run around and get into stuff.
Coat: Very profuse, and of good hard texture; if corded, hanging in tight, even cords; if non-corded, very thick and strong, of even length, the curls close and thick, without knots or cords.
